British Cycling is the National Governing Body for cycle racing in the UK. They offer membership with benefits such as the ability to compete in Lvarious disciplines and also third party insurance which we recommend for on road activities. FWCC is affiliated. Link
The British Schools Cycling Association is a voluntary organization which promotes the sport and past time of cycling for all young people, whether beginners or experienced riders. They do this by holding a series of regional and national competitions and coaching events in eight different cycling disciplimes in a safe and controlled environment.
Cycling Time Trials (CTT) is the National Governing Body for Time Trials in England and Wales. Most time trials are run under the CTT including all FWCC time trials, and the club and subsequently it’s members are affiliated to the CTT. FWCC is affiliated
The Cyclists’ Touring Club, known as CTC, is a charitable membership organization supporting cyclists and promoting bicycle use; it is the largest such organisation in the UK. It works at a national and local level to lobby for cyclists’ needs and wants, provides services to members, and organises groups for local activism and those interested in recreational cycling. FWCC is affiliated.
The Portsdown Time Trial League is a series of Time Trials organized by local clubs (including FWCC!). Club members who take part can accrue points based on position towards an overall series total where there are prizes for position and age category! FWCC is affiliated.
